Fool

FOOL (K. McMaster)  –  2:33

Inside his mad world,

The jester believed in romance,

Oh sad fool,

You sad fool!

While all the characters,

And profiled cardboard soldiers,

Danced ’round him,

Smiling!

It seems the fool is charming

It seems the fool is funny

So how should this joke of a man react,

To the friendly fire of laughter?

Should he laugh?

Should he smile?

Should he dance for a while?

Or should he puke?

Like some square circle who can’t get the joke,

Until he sees that the joke is he,

So he’ll laugh,

So he’ll smile,

And he’ll dance for a while,

And once in a while,

He’ll puke!
